cakelava is an award-winning custom wedding cake and celebration cake design studio co-owned by cake designer Rick Reichart and his wife, Sasha. cakelava offers exquisite, scratch-made cakes with handcrafted flowers and decorations made in-house.

Rick has 30 years experience in cakes and is known internationally for cake design and instruction. He was featured on Food Network’s “Ridiculous Cakes” and “Challenge”. He and Sasha are co-authors of the cake book “Extreme Cakeovers”. cakelava opened in 2005 on Oahu, HI, then relocated their much-loved cake studio to Las Vegas in 2016. The studio is by appointment and closed Sundays and Mondays.
