I have been baking and cooking as long as I can remember. I have always found great joy in making meals and edible treats for friends and family. About five years ago, I found myself addicted to Food Network’s cake competitions and began trying to copy the techniques they used. What started out as a hobby soon began to grow as friend were asking for cakes for parties and events.

Identified by the SUGAR ANT, Sweets by Jazz LLC stands firm on the scripture: Proverbs 6:6 – Go to the ant thou sluggard, Consider her ways and be wise. The ant represents wisdom, power, strength, and of course, the LOVE of SWEETS.
I was a commercial broker with a law degree that quit working after 8 years to raise a family. I wanted something I could do from home so I took the culinary challenge of making macarons. I have loved every minute of it!
